£5 Million and Counting: A Huge Thank You to Our Communities!

We have some incredible news to share. Thanks to your generosity and the hard work of our colleagues, our partnership with Marie Curie has officially hit a massive milestone: £5 million raised in just 15 months.
When we teamed up with the UK’s leading end-of-life charity, we set an ambitious goal to raise £15 million by 2027. Reaching the one-third mark this quickly is a testament to the amazing spirit of our customers and colleagues.
How We Got There
It wasn't just one thing that got us to £5 million; it was a community effort across the UK:
The ‘Paint it Yellow’ Campaign:
Our stores turned yellow with fundraising activities that brought a smile to everyone's faces.
Every Pack Gives Back:
You supported the cause just by doing your weekly shop, with donations built into your favourite products.
The More Card App:
Over £90,000 has been raised simply by customers choosing to donate their loyalty points.
Local Collections:
We’ve hosted over 5,650 volunteer collections.
Morrisons Foundation:
Over £120,000 in colleague fundraising has been match-funded, doubling the impact and helping to reach more families in need.

The Real Impact: Why It Matters
Currently, one in three people in the UK doesn't receive the care they need at the end of life. Every penny you’ve dropped into a bucket or donated via the app is changing that. So far, this partnership has provided:
136,000+ hours of expert nursing care in people’s own homes.
Support for 9,300 people within Marie Curie hospices.
11,000 ‘meaningful moments’ for patients and their families when they needed it most.
