Information about vulnerable customers

We receive lists from the government of our customers identified as vulnerable and in the tier 3 areas, this will be regularly updated.

Due to GDPR we will receive information for our customers only ie customers that are registered active online shoppers. Customers on this list and registered will be able to see available slots up to 21 days in advance.

What is the Doorstep Delivery service?

Morrisons are offering a dedicated telesales shopping service aimed specifically at helping to ensure vulnerable and elderly people can get the groceries they need. 

Customers who wish to place an order should phone 0345 611 6111 between 8am and 5:30pm, and select option five. 

Delivery costs £2.50 for all orders.

It is one of a number of measures which has been introduced in response to the Coronavirus pandemic to ensure that no customer gets left behind. Morrisons has received many calls from customers who are self isolating, elderly, vulnerable and not able to visit a shop. Some have little food in their store cupboard and are worried about how they will stock up when demand for home deliveries has been high. Some have never used online ordering. 

Using this service you can: 

  • Choose from any Morrisons products in store for a next day delivery between 10am and 6pm. 
  • Open 7 days a week.
  • Pay for delivery on your doorstep using a mobile chip and pin device
    Refuse an item on delivery if you wish to do so but every effort will be made to match the customers’ specific preferences.

What do I do if I am self-isolating?

We can still deliver to you if you are self-isolating. When it's time for your order to be delivered, it's essential that you let us know if you are self-isolating so our delivery drivers can take the necessary precautions when fulfilling your order.

Please make sure your contact details are up to date in your account, and update us on your isolation status under the 'delivery instructions' section of your account. Remember to update your isolation status when you are no longer self-isolating.

When your delivery arrives please wear a mask, let your delivery driver know you are self-isolating and stay inside while your order is placed by your door. You can leave reusable bags or boxes at your door and our friendly delivery drivers will pack these for you.

Can I still return my carrier bags during the Coronavirus?

In certain areas you can hand your bags back for recycling - please check with your driver. Carrier bags that we take away are recycled back into carrier bags so they can be used again.

How do I get my NHS discount on my online groceries order?

NHS club members need to be part of My Morrisons NHS Club and have the My Morrisons app downloaded and connected to their Morrisons acccount.
