How do I add a card to my account?

Go to the My Account menu and within Account Settings, click on Payment Details. Click on “Add new card” and enter your card details. You can also add a new card at the checkout when completing an order. On the order confirmation page just before you checkout, simply click on “Add new card” and enter your card details in the box provided. The card details can be stored for future use.

My credit card isn't working

There could be a few reasons for this. 

We take payment for an order when the groceries are delivered, not when you complete your payment at the checkout. So, if your card is due to expire before we plan to take a payment, it may not be accepted on our website. Unfortunately, we can't verify your new card either, as it can't be activated until your current card expires.

If you think it may be something else, you'll need to contact your bank to make sure there are no problems with your credit/debit card. They will carry out the verification process on our behalf.

Can I pay for an order with a card that's not in my name?

You can use an alternative card as long as you have the card owner's permission.

How do I check out my order?

When you are ready to checkout, just click the ‘Checkout’ button or trolley icon in the top right-hand corner of the page and then follow the yellow buttons that will take you through the steps to complete you order. Remember, you’ll need to spend at least £40 before you can checkout.

How do I enter a voucher code?

You’ll have the chance to enter any voucher or coupon code when you reach the payment step at the checkout.

Just click into the voucher box and enter the code (e.g. VOU1234567).

You’ll see a confirmation if it has been accepted, or a message to tell you if there is a problem with your code.

I can't get the website to accept my voucher code

Make sure you're entering the code exactly as it appears. The letters VOU must be in capitals, as the system is case sensitive.

This is the same for coupon codes, the letters COU must be in capitals.

How do I add a new address to my account?

You can manage your addresses within Account Settings. Within My Account settings, look for the Delivery Address Book. You’ll then see a button to add a new address.

Why can I no longer use PayPal to pay for my order?

We have made some changes to Morrisons.com to simplify the checkout experience for online grocery shoppers. This means that PayPal will no longer be a payment option at the checkout.


Any orders currently placed using the PayPal checkout option will still be fulfilled and delivered as normal, provided they were booked before PayPal was removed as an option. Any future orders placed will need to be checked out using a card payment.
